The Timmins Police Service is actively seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a male person who allegedly accosted a woman on the Davidson Mine Road in Porcupine.

On the evening of June 22nd, 2016, a 22 year old female was out for a walk on Davidson Mine Road off of Ferguson Road in Porcupine. Shortly after turning onto the Davidson Mine Road, a vehicle pulled up behind her and parked off to the side.

A male person exited the vehicle and began making lewd comments to the female.

The male suspect started to approach the female while continuing to make unsavory comments.

Fearing for her safety, the female fled the scene on a municipal walking trail off of the Davidson Mine Road and called police.

The Timmins Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect who is described as a Caucasian male, roughly 25 years of age, approximately 5’10 and weighing 200 lbs. with a trim beard and short dark hair.

At the time of the incident, the suspect was wearing a red t-shirt and was driving a dark navy blue pickup truck.
