Timmins Police say a 44-year old Timmins man remains in hospital Sunday afternoon with non-life threatening injuries after getting hit by a vehicle last night.

Police say a westbound motor vehicle struck the man at the Algonquin-Pine intersection and the driver remained at the scene.

The intersection was closed Saturday night from 5:30pm to around 11:30pm to allow for “proper investigative functions to take place.”

They’re still looking for witnesses as well. Please contact Timmins Police at 705-264-1201 if you have any information.
