A 51-year old North York man is facing charges after he was caught with 29 pounds of suspected Cannabis marijuana on a commercial vehicle.

OPP say it was part of a traffic investigation on Highway 11 just north of Matheson Sunday evening before 9pm.

The driver, Junior Manning was charged with “Possession of a Schedule II substance for the purpose of trafficking – Over 3kg, Fail to carry daily logs or operator’s records for previous 14 days and Fail to maintain daily log.”

He made an appearance in bail court in Timmins Monday, where he was released on a Recognizance.
