A trio of Timmins residents face a number of charges after police seized around $22-thousand dollars in drugs, money and a firearm.

Police say they located a number of illegal substances at a Timmins home during a search warrant on November 9th.

The drugs include 16 grams of cocaine, 22 grams of heroin, 169 methamphetamine tablets, 107 Oxycodone tablets, and 8 morphine tablets. There was also about $1,430 in Canadian money seized, along with an unspecified firearm.

45-year old Wendy Rothwell, 37-year old Christopher Killeen and 44-year old Anthony Bonnevie all face the following charges:

  • Five counts of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking
  • Unauthorized possession of a restricted firearm
  • Knowledge of unauthorized possession of a firearm
  • Careless storage of a firearm
  • Careless storage of ammunition
  • Possession of a loaded, prohibited or restricted firearm

As well, Killeen is facing charges of Possession of a firearm contrary to a Prohibition order and Fail to comply with Recognizance.

Bonnevie was further charged with Possession of Property obtained by crime under $5,000 and four counts of Possession of a firearm contrary to a Prohibition order.

Killeen and Bonnevie were both held in custody and have video remands scheduled for Friday.  Rothwell was released on a Recognizance of Bail, and is due in court November 28th.
