A 44-year old man from St. John’s, Newfoundland has been reported missing, according to Timmins Police.

They say Jimmy Marnell is staying in Timmins for work, but failed to report to work Friday morning. He was reported missing from a local hotel near Algonquin and Mountjoy, but they didn’t specify which nearby hotel.

He was last seen around 10:00pm Thursday evening, and last spoken to around 7am Friday morning.

“He is described as being approximately 5’10” tall and 210 lbs. with a muscular build,” police say.

“He has a light complexion, blue eyes, and short blonde hair, as well as a short beard and noticeable gap between his teeth. Marnell also has a noticeable Newfoundland accent. He was last seen wearing black sweat pants, a navy shirt, and may be wearing a grey fleece jacket over his shirt.”

Anyone having any information about Marnell’s whereabouts, or believing they may have seen him is asked to contact the Timmins Police Service at 705-264-1201.
