Both bands have played shows in Timmins and have gotten airplay on 92.1 ROCK, and have been featured on the Northern Ontario ROCK’s Against Epilepsy album. Fortunate Losers

 

Hello everybody ! We are Sudbury Ontario’s 4 piece grunge rock band Fortunate Losers. We are submitting to Gimme The Gig in hopes to perform in this summers greatest upcoming festival and festival line up. We’re a hard working group of men that want nothing more than to tour anywhere in the world to have their music heard and wanted. This band will stop at nothing to have their voices heard and remembered.

We believe that the addition of Fortunate Losers will benefit every party involved. Our hard work and dedication to this band will always be a constant. Never will we not perform any task asked of us in order to attain something. We would love nothing more than to have the opportunity to perform the main stage and contribute to the greatest concert the north will see this year.

Break The Trend

We are Break The Trend hailing from North Bay, Ontario. We’ve played all over the province of Ontario and have had our music played all across the world. We first played in Timmins for the Summer Concert Series in 2014 and haven’t had the opportunity to return to this great city since. We are all life long Billy Talent fans and we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to enter this contest.

 

Since forming in a high school cafeteria in 2010, Break The Trend has resolved to do things differently. Comprised of members John Fournier (Front man and Rhythm Guitar), Alex Lajambe (Drums and Backup vocals), and Lucas Mullins (Lead Guitar and Backup vocals), Break The Trend is determined to bring guitar driven rock back to the frontlines of the music industry. We believe that rock and roll music is devoid of the passionate flame that was once its trademark, and it’s our personal mission to reignite it. We don’t show up to play in our t-shirts and jeans like every other band; we strive to make our show both a visual and musical experience. When you see Break The Trend, you will remember it.  We pride ourselves on vocal harmonies, new age riffs and blistering guitar solos. We are Break The Trend, Canada’s Local Rock band and we are bringing the passion and soul back to Rock and Roll.
