Timmins Police Official-BadgeThe Timmins Police Service has completed its investigation into a 2 vehicle collision that occurred at the intersection of Kirby and Balsam Street South in Timmins on June 2nd at approximately 12:50 p.m.

Neither driver sustained injury as a result of the collision.

However, both vehicles involved were towed from the scene due to the severity of damage each vehicle sustained in the collision.

Based on the outcome of the investigation, an 65 year old female driver from Timmins has been charged with “Fail To Yield to Traffic” contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.

Timmins Police Traffic Sergeant Tom Chypyha reminds local motorists “Driving a motor vehicle requires your constant and full attention.
