The passing of Muhammad Ali.
The reason why he’s in entertainment is simple:
He was everything.
A boxer, an entertainer, political activist, an icon.

Muhammad Ali was 74.

Michael Bay sent out a couple tweets over the weekend
with Transformers updates.
The first being the new Camero that will be Bumblebee
and the second announcing Anthony Hopkins
has been added to the cast.
“Transformers: The Last Knight” is due out next year.

Yeah, there was an internet hoax going around that

Jack Black had died over the weekend.
It was posted by Tenacious D on twitter,
the internet freaked out and then the band
had to come forward and say it was all a joke.
Probably not the best timing because Tenacious D
were performing at Rock Am Ring in Germany which made headlines
for a number of wrong reasons.

At least 80 fans were injured when lightning struck,

and at least 2 had to be resuscitated.

The organizers cancelled the final day of the show
because of the weather.
Black Sabbath was scheduled to headline.

Cate Blanchett is in talks for the “Oceans 11” remake.

If you haven’t heard, director Gary Ross wants to remake
the film with an all-female cast that has
already signed on Sandra Bullock.
(Jennifer Lawrence was going to do it as well but got too busy.)
No word yet on a date when they’d like to begin filming.
