THE PLAYBOY MANSION HAS BEEN SOLD!
AN “ARCHER” LIVE-ACTION MOVIE?
JOHN OLIVER GIVES AWAY NEARLY $15M!
AND MORE!

Daren Metropoulos, the heir to Pabst Brewing Company and Hostess,
just bought the Playboy Mansion.
The home comes with the odd stipulation that Hugh Hefner
will continue to live there until he passes,
and was listed for $200-million but they didn’t announce
what it actually sold for.

Matt Thompson & Casey Willis are two of the producers of “Archer”
and they were talking to The Daily Beast about making
a live-action “Archer” movie.
They said that ideally they’d like to have Jon Hamm star in it
but then you’d lose H. Jon Benjamin as the voice of Archer.
(Unless you’d dub him in which would then sound weird.)
“Archer” is currently in its seventh season.

Pierce Brosnan is returning to television!
The former James Bond is replacing Sam Neill
(he left for personal reasons)
for the lead role in AMC’s “The Son”;
it’s a western show about
“America’s birth as a superpower through the bloody
rise and fall of one family.”
“The Son” will premier in 2017.

John Oliver gave away nearly $15-million dollars…kinda! (…also, NSFW…kinda.)
On his show, “Last Week Tonight”,
they were talking about debt and how easy it is to buy debt
off of creditors for pennies on the dollar,
and how easy it is to create a company that will do just that;
essentially go after you because your credit company doesn’t want to.
They then purchased nearly $15-million in medical debt
and had it forgiven.

Parents, get ready for more “Zootopia”.
According to reports, either a Zootopia 2 movie and/or a t.v. series
are being mulled over by Disney because the movie
has been doing so well; it crossed the $1-billion mark globally.
