Sad news from the “Star Wars” family.
“Sausage Party” had a strong debut…was it enough for #1?
Rick Astley & AC/DC together at last! (…yup.)

Yeah, some unfortunate news over the weekend,
Kenny Baker passed away.
He played R2-D2 in the first six “Star Wars” films.
There were tributes from Mark Hamill and George Lucas.
Baker was 81.

Thomas Gibson was recently let go from “Criminal Minds”
over an incident with a producer.
Apparently, he’s lawyered up and is considering a suit
against CBS.
Gibson was let go from “Criminal Minds” this past Friday.

“Suicide Squad” brought in $43.8 Million, good for #1 this past weekend.
“Sausage Party” had a strong debut with $33.6Million
and “Pete’s Dragon” debuted with $21.5 million.
These are all playing in town,

Yup. Rick Astley singing AC/DC.
Yup.
(I have nothing else to say to this.)

Vin Diesel took to his Facebook page
to lodge a complaint about the new xXx movie: It’s too short!
He said that it was amazing and his costars were terrific
BUT, at 90 minutes, he wanted more.
Looking forward to this!
“xXx 3” is out in January.
