A video from Southwest Airlines is going viral after a pilot (Who for some reason was keeping track of all of his passengers) surprised his one millionth passenger with a bottle of champagne and paid for her flight. Ignoring the fact that people still film vertically it’s a really heartwarming video:

If this is a genuine act from the pilot I feel bad for crapping on it but does this strike you as a PR stunt? I mean the Airline can easily spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on advertising OR simply pay for someones flight and let the internet do the work. With all the bad press about airlines lately, and airlines using the bad publicity as an advantage over their competitors doesn’t this strike you as fishy?

What do you think? PR Stunt? Or just a really great pilot?
