A Timmins man is facing several charges following a disturbance at an apartment complex on July 5.

At approximately 7:30 p.m., police were called to an address in the city’s North end regarding an individual who was allegedly making threatening comments toward other residents. Upon being spoken to by officers, reports indicate that the individual grew aggressive and assaultive toward police. The individual was arrested, and as a result of a search, police located a concealed weapon.

As a result of this incident, Ray FOISY, 62, of Timmins faces charges of Uttering Threats (X3), Carrying a Concealed Weapon, Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose, and Resisting Arrest.

Foisy was held in custody pending a bail hearing scheduled for today, July 6, 2017.
