The 2017 edition of “Welcome to Timmins Night” is next week!

The 24th Annual event will see over 100 non-profit organizations showcase their services and upcoming opportunities.

“The annual event has grown remarkably since its inception in 1994 and this year’s sold out event is anticipated once again to be a great success,” the Timmins Multicultural Centre says in a release.

The event is a collaboration of efforts from the Timmins Local Immigration Partnership (TLIP) and the Timmins and District Multicultural Centre (TDMC), in partnership with the Timmins Economic Development Corporation, Timmins Chamber of Commerce, Downtown Timmins BIA, Cochrane District Social Planning Council, The Venture Centre, and Tourism Timmins.

It all happens at the McIntyre Curling Club Wednesday night between 6:30pm and 8:30pm.

It is free to attend, but you are asked to bring a non-perishable food item or a washed stuffed animal as their entry fee.

All food and like-new soft toys will be collected at the event entrance and donated to a local food bank and the Cochrane District EMS.
