An expensive theft at the local Mushkegowuk Council office is being investigated by Timmins Police.

They say sometime between 6:00pm Saturday and 2:00pm Monday, a person or persons got into the Birch South building and stole a large number of electronic devices, including several laptops and numerous tablets.

“The value of the electronics taken is estimated at between $30,000 and $40,000,” the TPS release read.
