A run in honour of a Canadian legend goes for it’s 37th year in Timmins this weekend.

The annual Terry Fox Run is scheduled for Sunday at noon from Gillies Lake, starting with the fun run at noon and a walk at 1pm.

Organizer Cathy Davis says there is no set financial goal.

She adds last year’s funds helped about 200 projects nationwide.

Davis says the event happens rain or shine, as Fox had to deal with all kinds of weather on his trek.
