The Hearst Lumberjacks (5-2-0-0) continue to show their might at the Claude Larose Arena after a 3-1 win over the Timmins Rock (3-5-0-1) Wednesday night.

All the stats weren’t as high as what you would see normally in an NOJHL contest.

Hearst outshot Timmins 23-22 and both teams went 0-for-2 on the power play.

Linden Spencer scored the lone goal for Timmins, while Eric Jackson made 20 saves.

With the win, Hearst moves to 5-1 at home while the Rock are 0-2 with a draw on the road.

The Rock are back at home—where they are 3-3 on the year—Friday against the Rayside-Balfour Canadians. Puck drop set for 7:00pm at the McIntyre Arena.
