The courts have further charged a Timmins man after a court appearance back in November.

They say 46-year old Jeffrey Albert Sabourin appeared for a bail hearing on November 17th and provided information to the court.

Police say that testimony provided was later found to be not truthful.

Police say since they couldn’t locate Sabourin immediately, a warrant was issued for his arrest and he was arrested on December 23rd on charges of perjury and breach of probation.

He was released on a “recognizance of bail” and has a court date in Timmins scheduled for January 23rd.
