**TIMMINS CITY HALL NEWS RELEASE**

Suited up in solidarity, City of Timmins employees are taking part in the Jersey Day movement, in a show of sympathy and support. The April 6 Humboldt tragedy has brought much grief to our nation, and hockey communities everywhere. The flags at City Hall have been lowered to half-mast in recognition of this incredible loss felt by the Humboldt Broncos, their families, friends and community. The City will also be accepting donations through the Tax Counter at City Hall.

The City’s Mayor, Council and staff are touched by all the residents who lovingly placed their hockey sticks out and left their lights on in honour of those directly affected by this devastating event, and we’d love to see your Jersey Day photos in the comments below.
