**MINISTRY OF NATURAL RESOURCES AND FORESTRY NEWS RELEASE**


The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the individual or individuals responsible for shooting and abandoning a moose northwest of Timmins.

On Dec. 19, 2018, conservation officers responded to a complaint from a local resident about a dead moose found adjacent to Highway 655, north of Timmins. Officers attended the location and determined that a young bull moose had been shot and abandoned a few days earlier.
