On March 15, 2019 shortly before 8:00 a.m. members of the Temiskaming Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a call for mischief, located at Rebecca Street and Elm Street, in the City of Temiskaming Shores, Ontario.  

Unknown person(s) attended the location, shortly after 4:00 a.m. on the above-mentioned date. The suspect(s) removed the lid and opened the fire hydrant. The water ran for some time, causing water breaks in the area.

The damage for this mischief is valued at approximately $23,500.

The investigation is ongoing and police are seeking anyone with information to call police at 1-888-310-1122 or their local police authority.
