**JAMES BAY OPP NEWS RELEASE**


On March 16, 2019, at approximately 9:15 p.m., members of the James Bay Detachments of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), conducted a traffic stop on 11th Street in the Town of Hearst, Ontario, which led to drug charges.

 

Police seized suspected Methamphetamine and Cocaine with a combined estimated street value of $1000.

 

Stephane GODBOUT, 41-years-old, of Hearst, Ontario, has been charged with the following offences:

 

  • Possession of a Schedule I Substance –  Methamphetamine contrary to section 4(1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA), and
  • Possession of a Schedule I Substance – Cocaine contrary to section 4(1) CDSA.

 

He is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Hearst, Ontario, on April 24, 2019, to answer to the charges.
