The search warrants were executed on the evening of March 19th at a Birch Street North address, a Birth Street South address and a Kimberley Avenue residence. ” This is a collaborative effort between investigative agencies throughout northern Ontario. Timmins seems to be a bit of a hub for that type of activity. Were working continuously towards striking a blow in that direction. Those persons who are engaged in this type of activity are taking advantage of people with significant addiction issues. So, we see that as a public concern/community concern. So, we share that concern. We see this as an organised crime, and it is a threat to public safety.” – Said Timmins Police Corporate Communications Coordinator Marc Depatie
