The Timmins Symphony Orchestra is continuing their 40th anniversary celebrations this weekend with a special vocal concert.

The Symphony is joining forces with the Symphony Chorus and the Timmins Concert Singers to present Choral Spectacular.

This exciting concert will feature exciting choral favorites from the symphony hall as well as the Broadway stage. The concert will feature performances from works by Holst, Mendelssohn, Vaughn Williams and Rutter. There will also be performances from shows like Les Miserables, Wicked, Cats, Man of la Mancha and Hamilton. 

There will also be a special performance to mark the TSO’s 40th season. Timmins compose Luc Martin will present the premier of his new work, “Celebration”.

The TSO’s Choral Spectacular is on Saturday, April 27th, starting at 7:30 PM. It takes place at St. Anthony of Padua Cathedral at 274 Fifth Ave. in Timmins.

Tickets are available at the Timmins Museum. They are $39 or non members and $34 for members. $15 for those under 30.
