**TIMMINS POLICE SERVICE NEWS RELEASE**


The Timmins Police Service executed 3 separate arrest warrants stemming from three separate incidents over the weekend.

While completing routine patrols of the downtown core, a Timmins Police Service officer recognized a female person known to be wanted on the strength of an existing arrest warrant.
While interviewing the person during the early afternoon hours of Friday May 24th, the warrant was confirmed and the person was taken into custody.

As a result of this incident, Manon LEVESQUE, 31, of Timmins, has been arrested.
The arrested person remains in police custody awaiting a bail hearing slated for this morning at Provincial Court in Timmins to answer to the charges laid against her.

In a separate incident and while completing routine patrols of the downtown core, a Timmins Police Service officer recognized a female person known to be wanted on the strength of an existing arrest warrant.
While interviewing the person during the early afternoon hours of Friday May 24th, the warrant was confirmed and the person was taken into custody.

As a result of this incident, Heather NAKOGEE, 30, of Timmins, has been arrested.
The arrested person remains in police custody awaiting a bail hearing slated for this morning at Provincial Court in Timmins to answer to the charges laid against her.

In a separate incident and while completing routine patrols of the downtown core, a Timmins Police Service officer recognized a male person known to be wanted on the strength of an existing arrest warrant.
While interviewing the person during the early morning hours of Saturday May 25th, the
warrant was confirmed and the person was taken into custody.

As a result of this incident, Shelden SPENCE, 22, of Timmins, has been arrested.
The arrested person remains in police custody awaiting a bail hearing slated for this
morning at Provincial Court in Timmins to answer to the charges laid against him.
