The Timmins Police Service has charged a local man with a drug related offence stemming from an incident which occurred during the afternoon hours of Saturday, June 1st.

The suspect is alleged to have attended a Hemlock Street address and engaged in an aimless disturbance.  Responding Timmins Police Service officers attended the scene to restore order and arrested the suspect.  Upon arrest, the suspect was found to be in possession of a quantity of methamphetamine’s.

As a result of the incident, the Timmins Police Service has charged Ryan DREDHART, 33, of Timmins with:

– 2 counts of Breach of Recognizance contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
– Possession of a Controlled Substance contrary to the Controlled Drug and Substances Act

The accused remains in police custody while awaiting a bail hearing slated for this morning at Provincial Court in Timmins.
