In case you missed it on the show this morning, for Throwback Thursday we talked about We’re A Happy Family, A tribute to the Ramones. I came across this album randomly a few years back and it’s constantly on my record player.

One of the last projects Joey Ramone worked on before he died, he set out to make an actual project and not a cash grab. Ensuring the bands put their own spin on the songs. And he rounded up some of the biggest names in music, even getting Rob Zombie to design the artwork and co-produce the album. Check out the track listing and a few of the songs below!

Red Hot Chili Peppers- Havana Affair
Rob Zombie- Blitzkrieg Bop
Eddie Vedder With Zeke- Believe In Miracles
Metallica- 53rd & 3rd
U2- Beat On The Brat
Kiss- Do You Remember Rock ‘N’ Roll Radio
Marilyn Manson- The KKK Took My Baby Away
Garbage- Just Wanna Have Something To Do
Green Day- Outsider
The Pretenders- Something To Believe In
Rancid- Sheena Is A Punk Rocker
Pete Yorn- I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend
The Offspring- I Wanna Be Sedated
Rooney- Here Today, Gone Tomorrow
Tom Waits- Return Of Jackie & Judy
BONUS TRACKS

I can’t recommend this enough, what do you think?
