**TIMMINS POLICE SERVICE NEWS RELEASE**


The Timmins Police Service has charged a local young person with a number of Criminal Code offences stemming from an incident at a Ferguson Road residence during the late evening hours of Saturday, July 27th.
Responding Timmins Police Service officers completed a thorough investigation into the incident where the suspect is alleged to have damaged a private property and a parked vehicle.

The suspect was identified, located, and arrested the following day by the Timmins Police Service.
As a result of the incident, a 14 year old female young person who cannot be named in keeping with the Youth Criminal Justice Act, has been charged with:
– Breaking and Entering contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada
– Trespass by Night contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada
– 2 counts of Mischief Under $5000 contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada

The accused was held in police custody and had a bail hearing on Monday, July 29th at Provincial Court in Timmins where she was released on strict conditions and to re-attend court on August 12th in order to answer to the charges laid against her.
