**TADH NEWS RELEASE**

The 10th anniversary of the John P Larche Charity Golf Classic took place on Saturday, August 10th at the Spruce Needles Golf Club. The event had 27 teams of four players and they enjoyed a fantastic round of golf while supporting the John P Larche Medical Imaging/Cardiopulmonary Department.

The Tournament raised an amazing $110,000 dollars to purchase a pulmonary function test system which will allow accurate diagnosis of conditions affecting the lungs.

“This particular piece of equipment is one that is used from young children to seniors and the current one is no longer being supported by the parent company because of its age so it needs to be replaced” say’s Guy Guindon, Manager of the John P Larche Medical Imaging/Cardiopulmonary Department.

Jason Laneville, acting Executive Director of the Hospital Foundation, reinforced the fact that “the Government funds the Hospital to operate not to purchase equipment, so without the communities support at events like the Golf Tournament; we wouldn’t be able to replace this aging equipment.
