**TIMMINS POLICE NEWS RELEASE**


The Timmins Police Service is currently investigating a theft of a “classic” vehicle and is seeking public assistance with their efforts in locating the vehicle and the thieves responsible for this criminal act.
The Timmins Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance with a recent theft of a 1952 Chevrolet Deluxe, 2 door coupe, grey in color.

On the 28th of September 2019, the owner of the “classic” vehicle called the Timmins Police Service to report that his vehicle had been stolen from a residence on Mahoney Road in Timmins.
The vehicle was parked in the yard at the rural address and was last seen at 06:00 hours on the 28th of September 2019.

The vehicle had approximately a half tank of gas which gives it an estimated range of 150 kilometers before needing to be refueled.

The vehicle has an appraised value of $18,000.
The vehicle currently does not have back seats in the vehicle.
The Timmins Police Service is appealing to the public for assistance and to report any sightings of this unique vehicle which is a 1952 Chevrolet Deluxe, 2 door, grey in color and bearing an Ontario licence plate
