The Timmins Rock snapped a two game losing streak by ending the Hearst LumberJacks seven game winning streak back on Tuesday October 22 in Hearst. Now the Rock are looking to go on a winning streak… They’re back at the Mac after a lengthy road trip, and are getting set to take on a struggling Kirkland lake squad.

Players to look out for in tonight’s game for the Rock are: #? Phil Caron, who will be making his debut on the Timmins Rock blue line. #92 David Laroche, who will be playing in his 11th game in a Rock jersey and has already put up 15 pts since being acquired by the team. That now puts him three points behind Rock Captain Derek Seguin who has 18 pts in 16 games.

Players to look out for in tonight’s game for the Gold Miners are: #17 Landis Antonic, he has 13 pts this season and three of them are on special teams. He has one short handed goal and two power play goals. #9 Quinn Schneidmiller, he is leading all Kirkland Lake Defensemen in points so far this season with 10 pts, and plays a good shut down game. #29 Kyle McNair (if he starts), the Gold Miners goaltender was red hot the last time he was in Timmins. He faced 50 shots on September 14 and kept his team in the game, but went on to lose 3-2 in a shootout.
