Students from Ecole Secondaire Catholique Theriault went trick or treating last night, but it was more like a “trick or donate”.

Students were going door to door on October 31st to help out the Timmins Food Bank. Instead of saying “trick or treat” they would say “trick or donate”. You had two options… donate non perishable food items or you could make a monetary donation. Well, their night went better than expected.

“we had a very successful night. We had 13 cars full of canned goods and got over $250 worth of monetary donations!” -Grade 12 student Kara D’Arcangelo

After their collecting, they brought everything to the food bank, and also managed to get some trick or treating done. So, it was a win for both the Timmins Food Bank and the Students.
