**TIMMINS POLICE SERVICE NEWS RELEASE**


The Timmins Police Service arrested a local resident early Sunday morning on the strength of an arrest warrant.
While responding to a call for service concerning an unwanted person at a Sixth Avenue residence at approximately 4:50 a.m., a Timmins Police Service officer located the subject and recognized the female party as a person believed to be the subject of an arrest warrant.

The woman was arrested after the validity of the Arrest Warrant was confirmed by Timmins Police dispatch personnel.
As a result, Rainbow METATAWABIN, 27, of Timmins, Ontario, was taken into police custody.
She was held in custody and had a bail hearing where she was released but must attend at Provincial Court in Timmins on January 14th to answer to the original charges laid against her.
