**PORCUPINE HEALTH UNIT NEWS RELEASE**

There have been no new positive cases in the Porcupine Health Unit (PHU) area since May 10, 2020. The total number of confirmed positive cases is 65, 1 of which remains active. As of yesterday, over 5,101 COVID-19 tests have been completed in our region.

In a pandemic, the guidelines from public health can change quickly. Keep current with trustworthy information about COVID-19. The health unit continues to review the most up-to-date information daily and provides the most recent recommendations through the Daily Updates, COVID-19 phone line, website and Facebook page.

Any PHU resident who feels they need a test for COVID-19, even if they don’t have symptoms, can go for testing at an assessment centre. Call your health care provider or the health unit to access testing.

It is important to continue with measures like physical distancing, wearing a face covering where physical distancing may be challenging, frequent handwashing and staying home when you are sick.

Include the Five Ways to Wellbeing in your daily life to support positive mental health. Remember you are not alone, get help if you are having difficulty coping.

Our COVID-19 Information line is open today from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Call the toll-free number, 1-800-461-1818, or the PHU office in your community. See our offices page for local contact numbers.

Stay home if you are not well. Stay safe. Stay positive!
