Sammy Hagar & The Circle, the former frontman to Van Halen alongside a talented group of musicians, have put together a special treat for frontline workers. In a fitting tribute to the men and women who are doing everything they can to save lives every day, Sammy Hagar & The Circle have released a music video with their rendition of David Bowie’s ‘Heroes’.

 

 

This is a part of the new album that is a collection of mostly covers and some original songs that was just released on January 8th. It began as a project called ‘Lockdown Sessions’ which started near the beginning of lockdown in March 2020. Thus the title of the album, Lockdown 2020. What started as a way to cope with everything that came with Covid19, became something else entirely, with Hagar himself saying, “When we first started doing these lockdown sessions, it was only meant to stay in touch with the fans until we could get back out on the road again. But as the weeks and months drew on, it also became a fun way to keep the band together, musically and creatively.” Here is the rest of the tracking list if you want to hear the rest of the album:
