BIG NEWS! Blink-182 have returned! Mark Hoppus is cancer-free, Tom DeLonge is back in the band, and Travis Barker still doesn’t own a shirt.

On Tuesday, the band announced the return of their original lineup in addition to a new album and new song.

Little is known of the album, but Blink-182 did confirm that a new song called ‘Edging” will be released on Friday, October 14. Get a sneak peek below.

The news comes just a couple of months after Mark Hoppus shed light on the future of Blink-182. In an interview with People, Hoppus shared that he “keep[s] writing music” and that he’s “hopeful for the future”. “I’m open to whatever the next phase of Blink is.”

Hoppus explained that he, Travis Barker, and Tom DeLonge reunited last year before he began chemotherapy. “It was the first time that all three of us were in the same room in like five years,” adding that their relationship is now “better than it used to be”.

Blink-182’s new tour will take them across the globe beginning in March 2023, and includes five Canadian dates.

  • May 11: Toronto, Scotiabank Arena
  • May 12: Montreal, Bell Centre
  • July 27: Vancouver, Rogers Arena
  • July 29: Edmonton, Rogers Place
  • July 30: Calgary, Scotiabank Saddledome

The upcoming album marks the band’s first with Tom DeLonge since 2012’s Dogs Eating Dogs. During his absence, Alkaline Trio’s Matt Skiba filled in. In July, Blink-182 celebrated their 30th anniversary.
